To provide you with a quick insight on your progress, we provide an insight in word count on each item in the project tree. Next to that NovaScriber allows you to open a panel with info on the content in each document.
Word count
Mouse over the project tree to see the word-count on each document and chapter.
The word-count on each item is updated as you work on them.
Info panel
As your project grows, the possibility to peek into other documents will become more and more relevant: which characters, locations, concepts and plot points did you touch there? What exactly was it about?
How to open the panel
Right click on one of the items in the project tree. Select “Show info” from the context menu.
The info panel will stay open between your project tree and the documents you are editing, for reference as you go.
The info panel also allows you to edit the summary on the selected node, edit notes on “things to do” and to add and change the specific summaries on each item that is attached to that document.
