The project-settings-panel give you some control over what NovaScriber will do when. The following can be set:
General settings / project info

The data in General settings will be used for your remarks in the text (name) , used for spellchecking (language) and published in your ebook (project name, author)
Backup

The settings under “Backup” will determine how projects and documents will be synchronized and backed up, and to which locations that will happen. Multiple locations are possible for backups and synchronization.
If you work in teams on one single project, make sure everyone has both “On opening, immediately synchronize” and “On change, immediately synchronize” set to true.
Publish locations

NovaScriber will publish your document to any and all locations set in “Publish document to”. This feature is handy when you use another device (e-reader) for reading and checking your document, and when you prefer to have a copy of your documents in another location specified by you.
Naming colors

By default, colors you can use on documents have no names. If a specific color has a specific meaning, you can set the label here.
Deciding what will be shown in a popup

By default, NovaScriber will show all “metadata” in a popup, so your writing flow will not be broken when you want to access infor on a character or location. You can change those settings here.
